Every skill and agent here was already free where we found it. Charging you to read something you can download for nothing elsewhere would make this place worth nothing. So there is no price, no balance, no credit, and nothing hidden behind a sign-in.

You need an account only to leave a review or post. Reading the full source and copying it never requires one.

When money does appear

One day a creator will write their own skill and want to sell it. That is the only thing this place will ever take a cut of — their own work, priced by them. We will never take a cut of something the market already gives away. That path is not open yet, and nothing on the site is for sale today.

What gets in

Quality, not volume. We found over 17,000 SKILL.md files in public repos and most of them are not worth your time. Nothing gets listed on the strength of the repo it sits in — every listing has to clear a bar of its own.

One of these has to be true about that file, not about its repo: two or more people have edited it; or it has been changed at least three times and lives in a repo with 2,000+ stars; or it was touched in the last month and changed at least twice. Plus we ran a few of them ourselves and kept the input and the output, which you can read on the listing.

A repo that declares no licence is all-rights-reserved by default. We do not carry it, however good it is.

Where the vote count comes from

Every number beside a listing belongs to that one listing. That was not true until 20 September, and the fix is worth explaining because it cost us a board that looked busier.

We used to seed the count with GitHub stars from the source repository. It looked alive, but a star is given to a repo — and through it to the person who wrote it — not to one skill inside it. Our 253 skills come from 18 repositories: 151 of them showed the same 39,748, because they all live in wshobson/agents. Sorting by that number sorted by repository, not by quality.

So the star moved to where it belongs — next to the author's name — and the vote count now shows only real votes. Prompts carry the vote count from prompts.chat, which is recorded per prompt: 349 of our 400 have one. Skills and agents start at zero and go up when someone here clicks Upvote.

That means two of the three boards read zero for a while. We would rather show you an honest zero than a borrowed number, because a borrowed number makes the ranking meaningless in exactly the place you were relying on it. What we never do: invent a number, inflate one, or dress a repo star up as a person clicking Upvote.

Credit and removal

Every listing keeps its original author, its licence, and a link to the exact file in the repo, on the first screen rather than buried in a footer. If a skill here is yours, you can claim the page or have it taken down — neither needs an account, and removals are handled within 24 hours. We do not ask why; it is your repo.

Data

Pages are static, need no account to read, and set no tracking cookies. The email box in the footer stores your address in your own browser only — no mail service is connected yet, and the footer says exactly that.
