Privacy
Agent Alley Recorder, the Chrome extension. Last changed 27 October 2026. The website has its own policy at /privacy.
Single purpose
The extension records actions you take in your own browser and turns that recording into a skill. That is its only purpose. Website content, User activity and Web history are used only for that single purpose.
Where a recording stays
A recording stays in local chrome.storage on your computer. It is not sent anywhere unless you explicitly export it or click “Publish to Agent Alley”.
What it never records
The extension never records passwords, card numbers, or OTP and other secret fields.
The three kinds of data
- Website content — the text and structure of pages you record, used only to describe the steps of the skill.
- User activity — the clicks and other actions you take while recording, used only so those steps can become a skill.
- Web history — the addresses of pages you open during a recording, used only so each step is tied to the right page.
We do not sell this data. The extension does not show ads and does not include tracking.
Optional AI features
Optional AI features send data only when you enable them. Leave them off and nothing is sent for those features. The recording still stays in local chrome.storage until you export it or click “Publish to Agent Alley”.
